Procedural Echoes is a lenticular artwork composed of two panels forming a diptych. The motif—a 3D-scanned and digitally recomposed landscape from Hong Kong—is printed on lenticular lenses. These lenses refract light, altering the appearance of the landscape depending on the viewer’s angle.

Through these refractive transformations, the artwork disorients, inviting us to explore fragmented terrains within a pixelated wilderness. This is neither a classical landscape nor a traditional way of portraying one. Procedural Echoes presents anew, digital nature—a hybrid vision that reimagines the natural world. It is both a celebration of nature and an elegy for its loss, a swansong for the wilderness that has become a distant memory in the age of AI and the Anthropocene. Dense and direct,it rejects sweeping vistas, embracing a view that is unapologetic, non-hierarchical, and unyielding.
