The Invisible Human— Abdomen visualizes a process of mutation over time. The final object is the result of highly complex processes transforming the photographic data of a human body into a skeletal. With 3D printing, parts of the body are restored, but it is only through the second process of crystallisation that the Gestalt is, in a sense, reborn. And thanks to this skillful move, the work can be placed within the context of Vanitas, as the crystalisation gives form(however abstract) to the human body contradicting their usual effect on the body where their formation results in death. Invisible Human was displayed in the 1st SeeD Pilot Project Exhibition, along with Déjà Vu in Shenzhen.
