Based on a small Youlan rock from the streams near Youlan Village, Luzhai, Guangxi. It is dark in color,smooth and highly detailed in texture as a result of a corrosion process in the stream. The rock is in the shape of a miniature mountain landscape and was used mostly in the context of a literati study room as part of the desk. The work is created through cutting the original 3D-scanned mountain rock and flipping one half on top of the other. In this process, the upper part becomes water, while the lower part remains raw and without corrosion. The mirrored mountain landscape dissolves towards the top, seemingly evaporating the rock. The meta-morph is 81 cm in height and weights 300 kg. The original stone is 20 cm in height and weighs about 6 kg.
